Marimo-KM

Self-hosted ephemeral sharing for marimo notebooks. Notebooks run client-side in the browser via WebAssembly — no server-side Python.

What this is

A small developer tool for sharing reactive Python notebooks. The author exports a marimo notebook with marimo export html-wasm, which produces a self-contained directory containing the notebook plus a Pyodide-based runtime. This service stores the bundle on Cloudflare R2 and serves it at a short URL with an automatic expiration window.

How it works

• Notebooks execute entirely in the visitor's browser using Pyodide.
• Each share has a TTL (default 7 days, max 30) after which the URL returns 410 Gone.
• Storage is single-blob: one tar archive per notebook in R2, served with an in-memory file index in KV.
• Required cross-origin isolation headers (COOP/COEP) are applied so SharedArrayBuffer-based runtimes work.
